Saurabh Kapoor is a new generation Indian entrepreneur – Managing director of JSG Group and founder of Galio – with an industry experience of over 3 decades. He started with taking over the family business in 1991 at a very tender age. An initiator and a visionary principal, Saurabh has led the family business from being 2 people trading house to a 3000+ people strong $100mm+ vertically backward integrated design, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution global enterprise. Saurabh’s passion for business leadership and management has led him to develop a strong knowledge base and expertise in the areas of design & development, manufacturing, and supply chain management. He also spends a considerable amount of time in design and new product development and has over 8 design patents and 1 process patents in his name. He also prides having created the touchstone of testing and validation by setting up one of the industry’s first NABL approved ISO IEC 17025 in-house labs. He has also been pivotal in creating the enterprise industry 4.0 driven with automation and accurate data capturing. In the past few years, Saurabh spearheaded the export business of the group creating strong relations with top auto brands globally and big box retailers in North America – the business now accounts for 10%+ of the group topline now.

Saurabh co-founded his family office J4S Alliance with his wife Shikha Kapoor and son Simar Kapoor to manage their personal wealth, allocating capital to startups, industrials, and real estate. Current portfolio spans early stage venture funds, middle cap manufacturing companies, and plastic/sheet metal green field projects in UAE and India. Leveraging his industry experience, Saurabh loves mentoring new age entrepreneurs working closely with them as an active investor or turnaround and restructuring specialist.

Saurabh is an alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s USA, design and innovation program. At the heart of Saurabh’s business philosophy is to empower people to innovate and collaborate for high performance and wealth creation. He is a straightforward and understanding entrepreneur open to radically new ideas and growth. Saurabh loves to travel, explore new horizons, meeting and networking with new people.
